Use Your Browser to Generate Cash with Qmee Extension

Install Qmee Extension Browser and Earn Rewards
That's what they say!

Many people are installing extensions on their Chrome browser that have a “promise of earnings”. Some of the extensions that I have tried just don't suit my daily online working habits. In other words, the way the extension works interferes with how I do my work. Some of the extensions have a lot of pop-ups.

I installed Qmee Extension on my Chrome browser. Added it because it says you can earn from “searching”. I have to search to do my home biz work anyway, Why not?

Once it was installed a follow-up eMail was received describing the product further.  The communication said that you earn rewards for shopping and searching online and earn cash for each survey that you successfully complete.

This extension does not really interfere with my daily online search activity. So far I am very happy with it. My account shows a whopping 8 cents! 💲

Clearly reaping the rewards for my online searches as I have not done any shopping or taken any surveys.

The owners also claim many users earn hundreds a year just by completing surveys.

I'm passing this information on because I know there are people who like to take surveys. Quite frankly, I never have much success with surveys.  However, maybe I'll try a survey via Qmee and see if I have any success.

The real plus for using this extension:
Cash out your rewards whenever via PayPal as there is no minimum cash out amount.  It's kind of like having a piggy bank or having a cash stash for a rainy day.

What do you think?
Sound like something of interest to you? There are people making money using all kinds of apps on their mobile devices. But there are some old fogies like me who still use a laptop and some even “older fogies” that use a desktop. Why can't we earn for surfing the Internet or shopping or sharing our opinions?

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Meaning

Which film did you first see the lovely Julie Andrews?

The Sound of Music OR Mary Poppins?

Fell in love with Ms. Andrews, when she was “a problem” to the sisters at a convent in Austria; she was cast as “Maria” in “The Sound of Music” (Release Date March 2, 1965).  But she wasn’t really a problem.  In fact, she was just an ordinary young girl, who … married a rich widower, became a good stepmother to his children from a previous marriage, and fast forward … together the entire family – all being extremely talented singers organized themselves as a singing group and escaped from their country which was taken over by the evil Germans.  The movie was based on a true story.  But let’s face it!  Sometimes real life is just not all that.  Not to a 10 year old anyway.  It was the sound of the music that won me over.  “Climb every mountain … follow every rainbow, ’til you find your dream”.

By contrast, became fascinated and fixated on Ms. Andrews when she arrived on the scene, by way of umbrella, as “Mary Poppins” (Release Date August 26, 1964); an extraordinary nanny with amazing powers who could do all sorts of wonderful things. Must confess, never bothered to learn the meaning of that famous word or break it down.

Figured “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” must be describing who she really was or something she was able to do. (O.o)  It was an accomplishment for me, just to learn how to spell the word. But now I know what it means too and I like it! :)

My Shopping Channel is an Active Member of Alignable.com

Several months back I was invited to join a community aimed at promoting small businesses, connecting local businesses to each other, providing a means of referring customers and clients to each other, and other support.  It was a good sense decision to join this community.  I have been a work-at-home professional since 2007 and was invited to join by Heather McLaughlin from Performance Marketing Group.

Can you believe it?  They found me and extended me an invitation.  It wasn't hard to find me.  I have a public LinkedIn profile.  But someone looked!  ☺  I'm glad they did reach out because I have had nothing but positive dealings with all of the community - the staff and the members.

Most of the time I exchange business information (like passing out a business card) and post links for new products available at my various online shopping sites.  Occasionally I am asked to participate in a Q & A forum with other businesses so that we can trade ideas with each other and figure out some "best practices" routines that might work for everybody.

One of the questions I provided a response to was:

This was my response.

I'm an affiliate marketer working at home. Folks don't have to shop via my site. They can shop at the sites of other WAH marketers. It's a bazillion of us out there trying to swim to the top and get noticed so we can earn commissions from sales of products by people who came to the vendor's site via our website.
Our site visitors can always just can skip over our site and go straight to the vendor. Either way, the goal is for you to end up with a quality product for yourself or a lovely gift that the recipient won't re-gift or return. :)
Just started a new shopping blog on Tumblr: Go Shopping Bees. It shares my affiliate referral links, links from fellow affiliate marketers, and cool stuff found around the web. Consider it my shopping wish list for you. Happy Shopping!! :)

Updated My Twitter Profile (@goshoppingbees)

After listening/reading to all the doom and gloom business reports about Twitter not being likely to survive and maintain its place among the social media giants, I decided to ignore them. Just updated my Twitter profile for one of my niche Twitter accounts. It's for shoppers, shopaholics, wish listers, and such like.

Kid Size Cooking: Rainbow Checkerboard Cake (YouTube Video Share)

Another wonderful foodie discovery found by accident. I heart rainbows. I heart desserts. Have had an affiliate marketing website since 2011. When Google Plus invited me to join the G+ social / professional network, part of the membership includes being able to create a business page to link to your official website. Used to be called “page”. Now it's called “brand”. Either way, setting up a business page or establishing a brand account is kind of like passing out an electronic business card for your website, only better!

Long story short. Back in 2011, a blogger on G+ started following my Everyday Exotic Spices page. On her timeline, she had shared a recipe for a rainbow cake. However, clicking the link led me to page stating that the blog had been discontinued. Thought to myself 'Perhaps there's a new blog somewhere else and the recipe has been published there.' So typed an appropriate phrase into the search box and VOILA! Never found the original blogger's recipe but the YouTube video with kids in the kitchen is just as good!! Awesome!!

This YouTube channel has close to 4 million subscribers! Impressive huh? Might as well join the fun. Clicked the subscriber's button, gave it a Thumbs Up, and decided to share the video via this blog.

Blogjob.com - Can First Impressions Be Trusted? (Post Update #2)

Two years today I joined a blogging community called BlogJob and shared my first impression in this post:

A year later I published my revised first impression in this post:
Ah well! It's been a year and it's time to revise my revision of my first impression AGAIN!

Hey! My first impression was right and I'm sticking to it! Sure the site owners made changes. But they haven't SHUT DOWN!  They get an A+++ in my book just for hanging in there! They also get my sincerest thanks because they didn't delete my blog or ask me politely to move on. That is extremely gracious of them. Don't you think so?  Currently publishing two blogs via their platform (My Pain, Your Gain and My Shopping Channel) (post feed below); still being allowed to participate in the Google Ad Sense revenue-share plan; and also being allowed to use affiliate referral links and keep 100% of the earned commissions.  Also, ever once in a while, they let me share my opinion.

Use Flipboard to Publish Your Own Magazine

Been at this work at home American dream since 2007.  Perhaps others would have given up already.  Ten years is a long time.  What can I say?  I believe in unicorns and dreams.

Most active writers and bloggers have learned the guiding principle is:  "Content is king.  Distribution is queen."  In applying that principle, it's good to try out tools and resources that are constantly being made available to improve one's content marketing strategy.    That's why I'm happy to show you how I'm using Flipboard, a tool that allows you to publish your own magazine.  Use it to share (or distribute) your blog posts and your articles, to curate similar links and present the content in a polished classy-looking magazine that others can subscribe to or follow.  Check out my Flipboard magazines.

Cmoneyspinner on Over-Blog | My Pain, Your Gain

Using a free account at a site called OverBlog. It’s sort of like Tumblr or Pinterest, in that it’s really easy to share links, photos, etc. and write your own content. My posts date back to April 2015 and the last time there was any activity was June 2016.  Creating a blog was easy and the site does have visual appeal. However, my site does not get much traffic, so I don't spend a lot of time there.

More details at related link:

Sharing a quick list of the most recent posts below and also some embedded content. This blog has its usefulness in that it creates a space on the Internet for a collection of random things that are of interest to me, e.g. news about world affairs which become history reference markers, food and drink, entertainment, etc.

Do you use OverBlog?  Would be interested in knowing your experience.  Feel free to comment and share a link.

Freelance Writing Opportunities : WWW : Wizzley Welcomes Writers

Online writing communities are mushrooming all over the worldwide web. The majority of them are free to sign up, have a revenue-sharing plan, allow you to work at your own pace and you can write on any number of topics. Some are pay-per-view. Some are pay-per-click. Some are based on actual product sales. Usually, the only stringent criteria is a certain number of words required to publish a post. The main thing is they are legitimate work-at-home opportunities.

This blog entry discusses one of those communities, Wizzley.com, which is based in Germany. Since the Internet is worldwide, where a company's headquarters is located is irrelevant. This post is the beginning of a series of posts which will showcase these different sites and my own experience.  Wizzley.com is not the first site that I published for, but it is one of the current websites where my articles are still live for public viewing.

My first article was published May 2013, so next month will be my first anniversary. To date there are 34 “Wizzles” to my credit. The site owners and the writers in the community are supportive. The publishing platform is easy to use and their revenue-sharing plan is reasonable and money can be earned via VigLink, Amazon, AllPosters, Zazzle, Google Adsense or Chitika. Text referral links from other affiliate advertisers like ShareASale or Commission Junction are also allowed. Those are the highlights. To learn more, just visit the site by clicking the banner below.
