Welcome to My Blog Stop!, a freestyle home business and personal blog, curating advice, tips, and information for work at home professionals; and blogging about general subjects of interest, art, entertainment, views and opinions, society and culture, etc. This website complements and supplements multiple WAHM projects grouped together as Cmoneyspinner's Home Business Projects on Facebook. Thanks for visiting!
This blog, My Blog Stop!, was not my first Blogger blog. But it is my oldest Blogger blog. Google owns this platform and they are very generous. They will allow and indeed encourage bloggers, no matter their experience level (newbie, intermediate, advanced) to start blogging. The publishing platform is free and if your blog qualifies it can be monetized to display Ad Sense ads.
Using this blogging tool is so easy I became emboldened to start publishing several blogs. I have experimented with the various templates to try to customize and create my own "blog personality". The links of the blogs I am currently publishing using Blogspot are shown on my Blogger profile. Twenty-Twenty in the eye doctor's world means you have a great vision. I like to think that regarding my blogging projects, my 2020 vision of continuing and moving forward is "great". But in order to move forward, you should probably take a look back. I created companion Twitter accounts to promote my blogs. In the profile of the Twitter account, I share the link to my Blogger blog and tweet links to my blog posts as well. The Blogspot/Twitter connection is proving to be very useful. I analyzed my Twitter activity for the 1st Quarter of 2020 and shared them at the blogs that are showing the most promise. Are you curious?
Yep yep. And if you make it to Plan Z and that fails, then try Plan AA to ZZ, then AAA to ZZZ, then ... 26 letters in the alphabet. But numbers are infinite. Just keep multiplying the letters. You still living? "Where there is life, there is hope!" LOL. https://t.co/bA5u17oElSpic.twitter.com/1dW5beZZ5d

This is
my first Blogger blog and it is likely visitors performing an organic
search via the search engines will land at this blog before they find
links to my other Blogger (Blogspot) blogs. The description for this
blog reads:

The
post archives for My Blog Stop! date back to 2014 and a lot has happened
since then. That being the case, this post is to inform blog
visitors about my multiple WAHM projects and redirect them to my
other fun misadventures in the online world.
My
posts at this blog which mainly discussed blogging and writing and
other advice, tips and tricks for work-at-home professionals were
exported to a new blog called My
Blogging World.
2018
was a good year. 2019 was a better year, except for the month of
December. My
husband passed away. His heart finally gave out of him. I am
blessed to have been married for 4 decades. I carry on because I
know that's what he expects me to do.
So now
it's 2020 and we are in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most
people are staying at home and working at home. For me, there were
no adjustments to be made because I've been working from home since
2007.
My
newest project is publishing a newsletter: T_Fox's
Newsletter. (I'm working on coming up with a more catchy name.
That one sounds kind of drab, huh? LOL.)
There
is a super easy-to-use tool provided by Substack, Inc. You can
create an account free. You can set up your newsletter as a free
subscription or a paid subscription. I set my newsletter up as a
free subscription. My plan IF I get enough subscribers is to charge
a small monthly fee or an annual fee. This
is a long-term plan.
After
all, ever since ad blockers, it has been very difficult to trying to
monetize your websites and blogs. In addition, this health crisis
has totally changed the way everybody does business.
My
short-term plans include continuing with my work-at-home efforts
that are showing some profit. These projects include:
Wake up one day and discover that your blog was deleted? Start scratching your head wondering what you did?
The link below is to a post at "We Blog Better". It makes for a very handy checklist. Although as I scanned the list, it made me wonder why bloggers would not know this. However, it is possible that many do NOT realize these activities could get their blog removed. What I really like is that Guest Blogging and offering free samples of Oreo cookies are NOT on the list. YAY! Totally awesome because I have more than one blog and would like to extend an invitation to anyone out there reading this who would be interested.
Would you be interested in providing a Guest Post for this blog or any of my other blogs? Feel free to contact me via eMail:

SUBJECT: Guest Blog Post
I would be honored!

P.S. I haven’t gotten to the point where I can hand out free Oreo cookies but I can tell you where you can get free samples of bath products. Click here.:)
A look back. Revisiting sites where I found valuable information when I first started my blogging adventures. It is good to know this site still has online content available to the public. Left a comment at this post in 2013. It's 3 years later and the "Don'ts" in this post are still relevant. Interested in becoming a successful blogger? Hello! Glad you're here. We apologize for the inconvenience. This content now appears at My Blogging World. Hope it proves helpful. Thanks for visiting.
Have been freelance writing since 2011, and participating in online
writing communities – slash – social networks similar to
TreasurePen.com, but NOT! Recently I published a short blurb at another writing site –
DailyTwoCents.com about this site and titled it “Looking For the New
Facebook”. Here is the link, if interested: Looking For the New Facebook? It poses the question which was mentioned by an independent reviewer or blogger about the future of Treasure Pen.
Could it be?
Do you think it is possible?
Can TP become the new Facebook?
The answer is: "Yes." "It could."
But dogged diligence and determination would be required. They would have to burn the candle at both ends, so to speak. Don’t know if they fully realize this, but the management and staff
at the T-Pen community are literally sitting on top of a gold mine! (O.o)
Wishing them success!!
