Common Thinking Mistakes We All Make - BufferApp.com (Reblog)

Each day is a brand new day and I am always thinking of ways to enhance or improve my creative thought process.

Ever heard of Buffer? This business provides a service that helps you automate your social media sharing. The organization currently enjoys a good online reputation and is as respected as their competitors - HootSuite.com, SproutSocial.com and similar sites.

Not only do they provide an excellent service, but they publish a very informative blog. Very excited to share this tidbit. See REFERENCE below.

Had not realized there are common thinking mistakes most of us make every day? Well … maybe everybody else makes those mistakes. I don't!

Mistakes 1 through 5?

  • Not me. No way!

Mistake 6?

Mistake 7?

  • OK. I was wrong about who the original artist was that sang the song! Really thought it was Petula Clark!! That's how I remembered it!

Mistake 8 ? Fine! I admit it!!

So cool! Austin, Texas is on the list!!! The musicians are great here, but my hat's off to the food-truck entrepreneurs!! YEAH!!! Of course, New York is on the list too. But everybody expects NYC to be on a list like this. :)

How to Design Smart Toys for Creative Kids (So They Will Grow Into Creative Adults)

"According to over 1,500 CEOs worldwide, the number one skill a future leader needs to have is creativity." But test scores reflected via standardized testing methods and procedure indicate that creative thinking has decreased significantly among K- 3rd graders, especially in the USA.

MY OBSERVATION?
Not a professional educator, so don't know if the results are a reflection on inadequate teaching methods or testing processes. But do know that toys and games are proven educational tools and fun!

It must be tough ...

Typical day, minding my own business, not focusing on anything in particular when out of the blue this person says: "It must be tough."

OK. I'll bite. Please dear person thinking random thoughts. Share that one and tell me where did it come from?

Just thinking. ...

"It must be tough ... waking up every day just to kill somebody. I mean like ... it's your job. It's what you do. ... Must be tough to have a mindset like that. Go to sleep knowing you massacred some unarmed people - men, women and children. Wake up the next day and do it again. That's gotta be tough to live your life like that!"

(This thought is not dispensable. Definitely a keeper.)
