September is National Yoga Month. Celebrate!

Yoga is a form of exercise suitable for all ages; from kids to seniors. Seniors, in particular, have found that yoga helps with reducing arthritic pain, lowering blood pressure, and improving flexibility in their limbs.

Singer/Songwriter/Musician Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, who we all know as "Sting" credits yoga with not only improving the quality of his health and making him feel younger, but he sings all kinds of praises about its meditative aspect.

"Yoga introduced me to a style of meditation. The only meditation I would have done before would be in the writing of songs." (brainyquote.com)

Entertainment : Films to Inspire You to Travel

Used to travel on official government business when I was a civil servant. Because my kids were young and my husband worked for himself, it was easy to arrange my work travel around the summer time when the kids were not in school.  Part of me misses the fun and excitement of seeing new places when traveling.

Another part of me is glad to stay at home since many things have happened to not make traveling "safe" and there is an added layer of stress.  Also, there are no funds allotted for travel in my budget.

But if you can't afford to travel, there are definitely other ways to satisfy your wanderlust or vacation dreams. Always looking for foreign film recommendations anyway. Found this list. It is a great list to satisfy both of my ardent desires.

Travel and Vacation : 10 Cities for Creative People

Sharing a fantastic link.

So cool! Austin, Texas is on the list!!! The musicians are great here, but my hat's off to the food-truck entrepreneurs!! YEAH!!! Of course, New York is on the list too. But everybody expects NYC to be on a list like this. :)
