Who Should Be the Next James Bond? (After Daniel Craig)
This article was published by a fellow writer on Read.Cash. He combined 2 topics, but I am only interested in his picks for James Bond, so that could contrast and compare it to My Picks.

Entertainment: Music: Throwback: It Came From the '90s: Janet Jackson (Reblog)
This is a great blog with a great blog post. The link that the blog publisher meant to share was to a music video for one of my favorite Janet Jackson songs. Unfortunately, the video in the post is no longer available. But the post along with its content is available and it's a really good read. Check it out! (I found the YT video and put it in this post.)

Entertainment Blogs: World Music - the Music Journey
Do you enjoy world music? So do I. I used to work in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. There were two music stores within walking distance from my job, and they were a favorite place to spend my one hour for lunch break. Haven't been in D.C. since 1995 and the name of the stores escape me. But I do remember that they both had a wonderful world music section. In Texas, when we used to subscribe to cable TV, there was a show called “Musical Passport” that we watched often. Took you all around the world showcasing great music!
Currently, I work from home so I don't get out much to browse the stores anymore. Also, we no longer have cable TV. Sure I could shop online but don't always know who to look for. My significant other combs YouTube and finds all kinds of new artists. But I don't have the patience to do that. I have, however, stumbled across a blog that specializes in introducing its readers to musical artists from around the world: Germany, Greece, Mali, South Africa, Canada, Hungary, France, Caribbean and on and on and on. You can search this site by names of artists, by countries and/or by genres. As of March 2017, it had over 4000 followers. Their posts date back to 2011. The last post is dated December 2015. They have so much variety, it makes me dizzy. But I love it!! Why don't you visit? If you love world music, you'll love this blog!

Entertainment : Movie Versions : Annie or Annie? Finney or Foxx?
Always used to read the comic strip about Little Orphan Annie as a child. Saw the movie version “Annie”, released 1982 which starred two of my favorite actors, Albert Finney and Carol Burnett. Very much enjoyed it and would recommend watching it. Can't believe this film already celebrated its 20th anniversary!
By contrast: Never saw the film remake version with Jamie Foxx, released 2014. But it's a musical too. [ Watch trailer for Annie (2014) ] Mike Carter publishes a movie review blog called Back Seat Viewer / Movie Reviews and he thought they “did really good with the update while giving plenty of respectful nods to the original material”. Based on his review and recommendation you might want to put this family-friendly flick on your watchlist or in your video library.

Cool Tumblrs : Movie Reviews Written as Haiku Poems
Found the most amazing entertainment blog! On my list of Cool Tumblrs, this blog ranks Numero Uno!! In fact, this blog is Number One no matter what platform it's published on.
The publisher writes movie reviews in haiku.
The post archive dates back to 2005. Even found a few movies that I never heard. The only thing that could blog even better would be to include foreign films, i.e. not made in America or not made by Americans.
Here is the link to the haiku of a Johnny Depp movie that everybody was raving about.
Note: The real Whitey Bulger died in jail on October 30, 2018. Cause of death? Murder. YAY! That's all she wrote!

Takes quickie movie reviews to another level. Right? This person should have a segment on one of the entertainment TV shows where they come on at the last minute and recite their movie critique/poem for a new movie release. It would only take 2 or 3 minutes.

Movies and TV Series filmed in Ireland, but NOT set in Ireland : The Teeny tiny Ă Tout Faire (Reblog)
Well I know that I'm supposed to be tooting my own horn but why can't I toot about blogs I like as well? It's just as much fun reading other people's blogs as it is publishing my own. Re-blogging a link from a super cool entertainment blog that caught my eye.
The Teeny tiny Ă Tout Faire: [Irish Week] Movies and TV Series filmed in Ireland, but NOT set in Ireland
Why do I like this blog? It shares entertainment-related tidbits, fun facts, etc. that are of interest to me. I like the post categories; especially “Who Wore It Best?”
(Loved that contrast photo of Lupita and Beyoncé. Shared it via my Tumblr.)

I enjoy the “Movie Reviews” category because there are reviews of vintage movies. The publisher uses the word “vintage”. But sometimes we say “movie classics” or “old movies”.
(I love all things vintage, so I'm happy with the blogger using this descriptive term in lieu of “classic” or “old”. Shared the review of "Father Goose" via Pinterest where I collect "Everything Vintage". )
Additionally, there are recommendations regarding foreign films (i.e. non-American) and I'm always on the hunt for non-American movies or TV series.

Movie Review: Flame of Stamboul (1951) (Reblog)
An alternative title for this blog post could be: "Welcome to the World of Double Oh!" Check out Double O Section, a blog for reviews of all things espionage like this 1951 movie.
This blog's first post is dated October 2006 and is titled simply "List"; "a Top (double-oh) Seven list of people in the world of fictional spies to keep an eye on." Interesting list.
It's 2017 and this amazing blogger is still publishing posts. Sharing the link below to the latest post.
"After the defeat of Germany at the end of WWII (and the end of the Forties spy classics that went with it) and before James Bond came along, most spy movies were simply crime movies with exotic settings. But as the Cold War warmed up, a few managed to subtly buck the trend in the 1950s, in some ways presaging the direction the genre would go in the Sixties, following 007's explosive cinematic debut. Columbia’s B-programmer Flame of Stamboul, directed by Ray Nazarro and starring the future governor of Hawaii Richard Denning, is surprisingly such a film. ..."
