Have Internet? Solve Ancient Mystery of EZ.

I have to laugh. Here we humans have invented a marvel of information technology. What marvel? The Internet! Of course. It has given us the ability to operate in a world without borders. To communicate with other people on the other side of the planet in the blink of an eye.

Imagine what we can talk about. Imagine the problems we can solve. Imagine the excellent things we can invent through collaborative efforts. We can even make music together. A person in one country plays the string instruments while another in a different country provides percussion and another in yet another country supplies the vocals.

So what do we do with this marvelous wonder?

We talk about popping zits!

Why not? I mean, after all, it is a universal problem that has plagued us for ages. Did you know that the health records for the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt indicate that they had acne? They say the Egyptian hieroglyphs refer to acne. That must have been some surprise to the translators.

Come now! We have solved the mystery of how to translate hieroglyphics. (Without the Internet I might add.) Nothing is holding us back. We have the Internet. Let us solve the ancient mystery of …

Why Do We Love to Pop Zits?

EZ? Egypt and Zits.  Mystery solved.

What is a Universal Language of Light?

Sharing a link to an article written by fellow freelance writer

What is a Universal Language of Light?

  • Quote extracted from the article: “Modern research confirms the most ancient form of Hebrew to be a natural language; the alphabetic forms emerging from the phosphate flare patterns of the brain.”

The Tower of Babel, c.1563 This is my first time learning, hearing or reading about a “Universal Language of Light”. The research results do make you wonder. However, I am convinced that God invented all human languages because I believe the biblical account of the tower of Babel. If Genesis 11 is true , then any human language is a “language of The Light”.

  • The article also contains an interesting question: “Is DNA the next Internet?”
It seems that Russian scientists have made some claims. Next? I’m not trying to split hairs or “strain at a gnat and swallow a camel”, but DNA was here first! Just sayin’. This article is fascinating!!

10 Hackers Who Drastically Changed the World

#1 is Julian Assange ... #10 is Anonymous

"Yes, literally. While hacking is as amoral as science or mathematics, and therefore couldn't possibly be morally wrong, it is indeed literally wrong. Hacking, in the broadest sense of the word, is to attempt to interact with a system (any system) in a clever, innovative, and challenging way that the system was not intended to be interacted with, or the wrong way."

Your Song Lyrics Equal Your Money?

Advice for budding new artists:
You Wrote the Song – You’re Entitled to the Money.

Those aren’t the exact words the man said but he sure did drive his point home.

It happened because one man had written a song and couldn’t remember the words to his own song. He searched for the lyrics on the Internet and found them. He also found websites that were earning money by supplying the lyrics to the songs that he had written and he wasn’t getting a red cent! What could he do about it?

Here’s the link that tells the whole story.

I am so much wiser now. Before listening to the report on the radio I did not know who David Lowery was nor did I know that Rap Genius was a site where you could get song lyrics.

Most of the time, I can usually find the words to a song at A-Z Lyrics Universe.

Also, I very much appreciate the representative for Rap Genius clarifying the difference between a “desirable website” versus and “undesirable website”. It’s a fine legal line indeed! (Wink wink.)

Very pleased that the matter was settled expeditiously and the legal understanding was explained in such a way that everyday people like me could get it! This is not quite the same scenario but … When the late Michael Jackson bought the publishing rights to The Beatles catalog of music, Sir Paul McCartney was extremely upset. Furious is probably a better word. Why wouldn't he be? But the purchase transaction was perfectly legal. Mr. Jackson's response or reaction was: “It's just business, Paul.” Legal or not, to me, it seemed and still seems downright WRONG! If you're still living, you should reap the benefits of your “labor”.
